Department of Mathematics
Year of Establishment: 2008
Introduction
The Department of Mathematics was established in 2008. At the undergraduate level, Mathematics is offered in two combinations with Chemistry, Computer Science, and Physics. Additionally, we prepare students for IIT JAM and other entrance exams for M.Sc. in Mathematics. In 2019, the department launched a postgraduate program in Mathematics with an intake capacity of 40 students. For postgraduate students, we provide preparation for competitive exams such as NET, SET, GATE, TIFR, and DRDO, etc. Currently, the department operates in accordance with the NEP-2020 guidelines. Also, department arrange regular seminar, group discussions, Seminar competitions and workshops on IIT JAM, NET, SET, etc.
